GetTested was founded by licensed electricians who saw too many Australian businesses operating with untested, unsafe electrical equipment — not out of negligence, but because the compliance process felt complicated and inaccessible.
We set out to change that. Our mission is to make electrical compliance straightforward, affordable, and stress-free for every Australian business — from a single-room office to a multi-site industrial operation.

GetTested was started by a team of licensed electricians frustrated by how difficult it was for small businesses to access reliable, affordable test and tag services. We built the business we wished existed.
Word spread quickly. Referrals from satisfied clients drove rapid growth across metropolitan and regional Australia. We invested in training, equipment, and digital reporting systems to keep quality consistent at scale.

Credentials
Every GetTested technician holds a current electrical licence issued by the relevant state or territory authority. We never use unlicensed contractors.
All testing is performed in strict accordance with AS/NZS 3760:2022 — the Australian and New Zealand standard for in-service safety inspection and testing of electrical equipment.
We carry comprehensive public liability insurance. Certificates of currency are available on request for clients who require them for site access or procurement.
Our testing programs are designed to help clients meet their obligations under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and equivalent state legislation.
Our technicians undergo regular training to stay current with changes to Australian Standards, WHS regulations, and testing equipment technology.
