Who We Serve
Every Sector Covered
Different industries face different regulatory obligations, testing frequencies, and equipment types. Our technicians are experienced across all major sectors and understand the specific compliance requirements that apply to your business — from ACECQA childcare standards to SafeWork industrial regulations.

Under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011, employers must ensure all electrical equipment is safe. Offices are often overlooked — but power boards, laptop chargers, monitors, and kitchen appliances all require regular testing.
Note: Office environments often have dozens of appliances that go untested for years — a significant WHS liability.

Schools have a heightened duty of care to students, staff, and visitors. Education departments across Australia mandate regular electrical testing, and principals are personally accountable for WHS compliance on their premises.
Note: Education departments can audit schools at any time — non-compliance can result in enforcement action and reputational damage.

Childcare centres are regulated under the National Quality Framework and must demonstrate a safe physical environment. ACECQA assessors review safety documentation, and electrical compliance is a key component of Quality Area 2 (Children's Health and Safety).
Note: ACECQA assessors check for evidence of electrical safety management. Missing test records can affect your quality rating.

Commercial kitchens operate high-powered equipment in wet, high-heat environments — one of the most demanding conditions for electrical safety. Food safety audits increasingly include electrical compliance checks, and insurers often require evidence of regular testing for commercial kitchen policies.
Note: Hospitality equipment operates in harsh conditions. The 6-month testing interval exists because faults develop faster in commercial kitchens.
Stores, boutiques, shopping centres, and markets

Retail environments have a duty of care to both employees and customers. Shopping centre leases often include electrical compliance obligations, and landlords may require evidence of testing as part of annual fit-out audits.
Note: Shopping centre landlords can require proof of electrical compliance as part of your lease obligations — don't get caught out at renewal.
Factories, warehouses, workshops, and construction

Industrial environments carry the highest electrical risk of any sector. Heavy machinery, 3-phase power, and harsh operating conditions mean faults develop quickly. SafeWork Australia and state WHS regulators actively inspect industrial sites, and non-compliance can result in immediate prohibition notices.
Note: Industrial sites have the shortest testing intervals of any sector. A single fault in a 3-phase system can be fatal — don't delay testing.
Quick Reference
Recommended intervals under AS/NZS 3760:2022. Actual requirements may vary based on equipment type and risk assessment.
